Role

To ensure that the raw materials, products and the production environment meet microbiological quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • >> To perform Microbiological testings, reporting and documentation.
  • >> To perform testing procedures for raw materials and finished products: MLT, Endotoxin quantification, Sterility testing.
  • >> SOP preparation and reviewing.
  • >> Maintenance of NCIM cultures.
  • >> Media preparation and performing Growth promotion test for the prepared media.
  • >> Water testing: Sterility check, endotoxin quantification, pathogen detection test.
  • >> To perform staining procedures for identification of microorganisms.
  • >> To perform validation and calibration procedures for equipments.
  • >> Assist in the training efforts of the laboratory personnel.

  • >> Cleaning and operation of equipment (Autoclave, Hot air oven, incubator).
  • >> To perform Fumigation.
  • >> Washing of used & decontaminated glassware’s.
  • >> Disinfectant preparation for cleaning of floors, walls and equipments.
  • >> Preparation of materials for sterilization and decontamination.
  • >> Labeling for the prepared disinfectant solutions.
  • >> Documentation.
